Algae and weed growth
Excess nutrients plus still, low-oxygen water favor blooms. Circulation and higher oxygen make conditions less favorable for algae and weeds.
AquaMaster AquaAir Ultra and Volcano III, plus Kasco RobustAire and surface aerators — specified for mixing, dissolved oxygen, and water quality.

Raising dissolved oxygen and mixing the water stimulates aerobic digestion of organic material. That treats the water column instead of relying only on repeated chemical applications. A correctly sized and placed system is the starting point of a pond management program.
A display fountain can move water and serve as a visible feature. AquaAir Ultra pumps air to diffusers on the pond bottom, which mixes the whole pond with nothing visible on the surface. Volcano III is the floating surface aerator when you want a low, heavy boil and high pumping rate. Sometimes a mix is the right answer.

Oxygen at the bottom helps bacteria break down muck that would otherwise build up and feed algae.
Stagnant, oxygen-poor water smells and invites mosquitoes. Aeration is the first step to fixing it.
Fish and beneficial bacteria need oxygen from the surface to the bottom.
Bottom-mounted diffused aeration for ponds and lakes that need mixing through the full water column. A stainless, shore-based enclosure holds one to four compressors (⅓ HP piston through 1 HP rotary vane). Weighted Super Sink tubing runs to one to twelve anti-fouling membrane diffusers on the pond floor. Systems range from ⅓ to 2 HP. Compressors carry a 3-year warranty; the stainless enclosure has a limited lifetime warranty.
The same AquaAir Ultra diffuser system, powered by polycrystalline solar panels with a battery bank for 24-hour run time. A 24-volt piston compressor feeds 9-inch membrane diffusers through Super Sink tubing. Built for ponds without usable grid power. We will tell you when solar fits the load and when it does not.
AquaMaster’s floating surface aerator. It produces a low, erupting boil rather than a tall decorative spray. Listed sizes include 1.5, 3.5, and 5.5 HP. Needs at least 3 feet of water. Night Glow LED or RGBW lighting can be added on the float. Hydromax models produce a heavier cone-shaped flow.

We are an Authorized Kasco Distributor. Kasco aeration covers shore-based diffused systems and floating surface aerators. We size the system to the pond.
A shore-mounted compressor pushes air through self-weighted lines to a diffuser on the pond bottom, mixing from the bottom up. Small cabinets cover 1–3 diffusers, medium 4–6, and large 7–12. A no-cabinet option is listed for 1–3 diffusers. An optional remote manifold can place the compressor up to a mile from the water.
Kasco’s backyard diffused system: stainless cabinet, ¼ HP compressor, and one or two single-loop diffusers (DA1 or DA2). Listed for ponds smaller than 2 acres and up to 20 feet deep.
Floating units that throw a low, heavy boil rather than a decorative spray. Current sizes are ½, ¾, 1, 2, 3, and 5 HP.

We are an Authorized Kasco Distributor. We sell Kasco de-icers. They push warmer water up to hold an opening in the ice around docks, boats, and boathouses, and to keep an open area in ponds in winter.
We also sell Kasco AquatiClear circulators. They are ½, ¾, and 1 HP units built to keep moving water at docks and shorelines.

In spring we put fountains and aerators back in service. In fall we winterize them, and we can store equipment over the off-season. We sell Kasco de-icers for docks and ponds that need an opening in the ice during Indiana winters. Kasco de-icers
